1.) It helps to understand the native language of the person you are teaching.
2.) You better be able to laugh, out loud and many times a day.
3.) Charades will save your life, everything can be acted out with a little creativity.
4.) Learning a new language from someone much younger than you is a very raw experience, but watching someone 50 years your senior learn a new language is a very humbling and inspiring experience.
5.) Games involving a winning team and a losing team are always a great way to loosen the tension no matter the age.
6.) Thank God everyday for your translator, they make everyone just a little more comfortable, open up classroom and are able to do everything in two different languages without getting tired.
7.) If you’ve never received honey as a teaching gift instead of an apple, man are you missing out.
